Bolognese
Bolognese is a classic Italian sauce recipe for pasta, most commonly associated with long pasta such as tagliatelle, spaghetti, or fettuccine. Originally from the Italian city of Bologna, Bolognese is a meat-based spaghetti sauce that is traditionally made with meat and tomatoes.

Ragu
Ragù is another traditional Italian sauce that, like Bolognese, is also meat-based. Ragù sauces are traditionally rich in meat and contain only a small amount of tomato sauce added for flavor.
Pesto
Pesto is a wonderfully healthy pasta sauce that is traditionally prepared with a distinctive basil base. Pine nuts, a little olive oil, and plenty of cheese (usually Parmigiano-Reggiano) are mixed into it, along with a few herbs and spices.
